Operation Love Reunited photo shoot!

I am beyond thrilled. There is a program called Operation Love Reunited (http://www.oplove.org/) where local photographers do free of charge photo shoots for homecomings. I was very late in contacting anyone to do photos via this program or otherwise and figured I would just go alone, but then was inspired by a friend's raving about her photographer so I took a shot in the dark and guess what? A fabulous photographer, Jenn Kelley, contacted me and has agreed to be my photographer. (http://jennkelleyphotography.com/?load=flash)

I am so happy, I actually cried when I got off the phone with her. This deployment has been a long and trying one, but I am happy to say it is almost over and I will have pictures to celebrate our reunion.

Thank you to everyone that has supported me during these past 7 months, you all mean more to me than I can express.

5, 4, 3, 2, 1 it's the final countdown!

Nick's ship has officially left Pearl Harbor and is headed home to port in San Diego. Then Nick's air wing will be flying home to Virginia. Homecoming is so close. I am thrilled.

This is my last weekend alone, I cleaned the pool this afternoon now it is storming...I was going to wash the car and truck, now it is storming. Dang weather. Oh well, I just hope Virginia gets the bad weather out of its system before homecoming. The current forecast is 85 and sunny, 0% chance of precipitation. Works for me!!

I have my dress and shoes picked out, haven't decided what to do with my hair. The menu is all planned, I need to go grocery shopping early next week. Then just putting the final touches on the house.

Are you all ready for me to have a permanent grin plastered across my face? There may also be some girly squealing...I'm that excited.

EXCITEMENT!! Do the happy dance!!

I really can't contain my excitement for Nick's homecoming and the meet my husband party and going home to see our family. There is just so much excitement. I'm just doing the happy dance all day everyday
Thankfully I have short days all this week at work, because Lord knows I wouldn't be able to focus on actually doing anything productive. However the week after Nick comes home we are transferring to Computer Assisted Ordering which will include some very long days.
I already have the meet my husband barbeque on a roll, I'm getting the house spic and span clean, then it is time to kick back and enjoy. There is really no point to this blog entry. Just to share my excitement and put up a lot of little animated happy dancing clip arts. Here is another...
And with that I am off to go dream of my husband coming home. It is so soon, my dreams are so close to coming true.
